I wish that the rectangular box did not have to be in the middle of the cord. Sometimes it is hard to find a place for that to rest.

Resin-encased transformer, obviously weather-resistant

Plus = enough cabling to attach it across our pavilion’s deck.
Minus = missing a grounding plug. Add 3rd wire to make circuit even more safe.
Interesting = add an indicator LED? Help with troubleshooting power issues.

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback. We also want to let you know that a majority of PurpleAir sensor models do contain a power indicator LED. You can look up our Power Troubleshooting guide if you have more questions or email contact@purpleair.com

Good Except for the Old-Fashioned USB Connector

It seems like a good power supply. It comes with a lot of wire that I didn't need, so I had to wrap it around some things. But the biggest issue is that PurpleAir still uses a micro USB connector, which seems very fragile and finicky. It's working fine now, but I could see it getting damaged easily if it's pulled on the wrong way.

Failed after 1 year

My sensor was rebooting a couple times a day. I thought it was the way it was. After a year the power supply died. Swapping out the supply for a new one has now resolved the random reboots.

Review of air quality sensor

Can’t tell you how helpful it is to actually know the air quality in real time at my location! I have allergy induced asthma. Knowing the air quality helps me plan my activities and wear protection as needed. Love the colored light on my sensor
