We love the Touch’s color-coded air quality alerts and sleek look for indoor use. But it’s very difficult to establish Wi-Fi connectivity with the PurpleAir service. Most 2.4GHz devices are much easier to bring online.

I love having thsi indoor monitor
I have had this monitor since Aug 2021. I also have an outdoor monitor. Besides being helpful during fire season, the indoor monitor lets me know when cooking in the kitchen or burning candles or incense is impacting indoor air quality. I have an electric stove and using my cast iron pan always makes the air quality poor but I would have never known because the kitchen never seems smoky. One change I would make is to allow the user to turn of the light indicator, without turning off the device. I have a small place and overnight guests in the living room can't have a completely dark environment unless I unplug it. Otherwise the monitor is always on and is one of the many little lights on different applicances that seem to be ubiquitous these days.

Purple Air review
Purple Air monitor has been very helpful to track monitor local air quality concerns for forest fire smoke, etc.
I am using my PurpleAir monitor in conjunction with Paku app which opens up the data to alerts, widgets and additional info profiling.
This builds on the excellent info on the Purple air map and detailed graphs. The device was easy to setup and to use. I recommend the Paku app to augment the basic provided functionality.
