Not sure it’s working

It always says “20”. Always.
I live in a farming community with a lot of dust… And near a PennDot storage facility. I would think it would change from time to time.

Hi Laurie,

That is interesting behavior. We'd like to take a look at your sensor's readings. If you don't mind, please send an email to contact@purpleair.com.

Easy & Accurate

This was so easy to install and get online. Gave us real time data for the school to make decisions about outdoor events during wildfire season. My only questions is - why didn't we do this many years ago!!!

PurpleAir Classic + Air Monitor ordered and installed Hoodsport WA

Purchased this to install at our beach place and monitor smoke from a major forest fire about 12 miles away (Sept. 2025) Wife has asthma, and we don't want to be in the area when the air quality is unsafe for her.

The PurpleAir + monitor seems to track relatively close to another maintained by the DNR and is about a mile from our vacation home.

The only issues I ran into was getting it online and registered. Instructions were not real clear, but I eventually figured it out without calling for help.

Purchased Purple Air Monitors, City of Austin - Great Experience!!!

Hello, I started a dialogue to ensure our purchase was free of sales taxes, as a government entity. We have purchased these monitors before through another vendor and the experience was painful. I'm so glad we opted to purchase directly through this vendor. My entire experience has been 5 Stars. Communication, response, professional and very positive experience overall.
