Outdoor Power Supply with Ferrite

Way overpriced for a 5 volt USB power supply which draws 250ma? Hard to find current draw specs - thought I saw 180ma somewhere - could be wrong. A well designed power supply shouldn't need ferrite filtering in 2025. I ran it off a USB wall wart for days to test it and it worked fine. So, I'm happy that it works as intended and is waterproof, not happy it costs so much. Glad they still stock it. My AQI keeps the neighborhood happy.

Could be better

The sensor itself works great, and I love seeing my numbers, but it would be nice if there was an app, and notifications for major shifts in air quality. I've saved the web page to my home screen, but it would be nice if there was some personalisation and help with what I'm looking at. It's kind of expensive just for a web page.

replacement parts

All replacement parts worked. Got new sensors and a new power source. Kind of bummed that they broke in the first place and I had to pay over $100 to get the sensor up and running again.

Great to Know Air Quality

It's really helpful to know the air quality right outside. The nearest EPA sensor is far enough away and over a great enough area that it doesn't accurately reflect our local air quality. I have pulmonary disease, so knowing when I can open the house and when I can go outside is critical.
